"To cut a long story short..."
I began playing the saxophone at the age of eight, and what started as a passion for music soon grew into a lifelong journey with the instrument itself.
I trained through an apprenticeship in Brighton, England, under master repairer Rupert Noble, where I learned the art of both complete overhauls and detailed repairs. Over the years, I have worked on vintage and modern saxophones from Selmer, Conn, King, Buescher, Martin, Yamaha, Keilwerth, and Yanagisawa.
I’ve also had the privilege of meeting and working with many incredible jazz musicians, who further deepened my appreciation for both the music and the instruments that create it.
Now based in Czechia, I dedicate my time to repairing saxophones with care and precision, ensuring each instrument regains its full voice — while continuing to play and share in the joy of music myself.
